Embracing A Hebraic Lifestyle
Returning to our biblical roots; seeking to follow the early church’s example in biblical application, life, motive, ministry activity and fruit bearing.
We follow the Biblical calendar and gather our families weekly around Shabbat, monthly around Rosh Chodesh and yearly around the Feasts of the Lord.
Along with the Gregorian calendar, we also follow the Hebraic calendar, which contains the original timing that was followed in biblical times. Below you can learn about the current month and gain an understanding of its significance in your everyday life.
Unveiling Abundant Blessings: Embracing the Fullness of God's Benefits Month by Month, Including the Joy of Rosh Chodesh!
In Psalm 103:2, the Lord instructs us to bless Him and not forget all His benefits. While we often associate this scripture with salvation and healing, it reminds us to acknowledge and appreciate ALL the blessings bestowed upon us.
Each month carries its own unique blessings and benefits, one of which is the celebration of Firstfruits or Rosh Chodesh. This observance serves as a reminder of the goodness and provision of the Lord in our lives, highlighting the importance of recognizing and rejoicing in the blessings that come with each passing month.

Tevet - Transitional Month, Time to Choose to Align with God’s Divine Order
Tevet [December - January] is the tenth month.
Holiday: Chanukkah or Hanukkah
Alphabet: AYIN — (eye, spring, or fountain) – supernatural activity (angelic).
Tribe: Dan His name means “to rule, to judge or to execute judgement.”
Stone: Dark Blue and Turquoise/Sapphire of Turquoise
Characteristics:
Tevet is a transitional month. In the Biblical calendar it’s the tenth month but in the Gregorian calendar it falls in the twelfth month which correlates to the holiday season of Hanukkah, Christmas and the beginning of a Gregorian new year.
So, it’s a wonderful time to pivot out of an old season into new things for our lives, ministries, and industries.
The number 10 represents godly authority, and twelve represents godly government. So, let’s pray for those in authority. Especially, our Commander in Chief so godly authority is established in the land.
The enemy has great strategies in this month to pull leaders away. Not just leaders, but to pull you and I away from sincere worship of the King of Kings. During this month of December / Tevet the enemy seeks to get people focused on gift giving, parties, concerts…buy, buy, buy, go, go, go! Which normally leaves people broke, tried, and discontented.
In reality this season is meant to be about Light, dedication of our lives, fresh oil, miracles, and Yeshua…Unto to us a child was born, a Son was given. Yeshua wasn’t actually born in December BUT he was born and this is the season of when Christians celebrate his birth.
Is. 9:6-7 6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. 7 Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.
Tevet is also the number of divine order and testimony. In this transitional month it’s a great time to get aligned with God’s divine order. Take time to examine your heart, your actions, your lifestyle, your worship, do these areas align with God’s Word, His way of doing things? If you find that you are out of alignment with Yahweh then repent, have a change of mind, and decide to go in a new direction.
Tevet is associated with the Hebrew letter AYIN, which pictures an eye. This is a month to see, to watch. Tevet comes from the Hebrew word for ‘tov’ which means good. So, it’s a month to see by the Spirit, getting focused is very important as you war against the evil eye and break the power of evil watchers.
The AYIN also pictures a spring of well. This month is a time for new life to flow. Also, represents the supernatural activity including angels and demons.
The tribe associated with Tevet is the tribe of Dan. His name means “to rule, to judge or to execute judgement.” This is a month to judge, grow up and mature. They supplied one of the most prominent of the Judges, Samson (Jdg 13:2).
Dan was a rearguard tribe; they had an anointing to take our the enemy attaching from the rear. Ask God how to form a rear guard over the past season. So you can take out any enemy seeking to stop your forward movement.
Release righteous decrees that will execute the judgment of God upon His enemies; upon your enemies.
Pay attention to the prophetic words over your life so you do not miss your destiny.
Be willing to war when God calls you; stand for your inheritance and don’t back down.
I Tim. 1:18 says, So Timothy, my son, I am entrusting you with this responsibility, in keeping with the very first prophecies that were spoken over your life, and are now in the process of fulfillment in this great work of ministry, in keeping with the prophecies spoken over you. With this encouragement use your prophecies as weapons as you wage spiritual warfare by faith and with a clean conscience. For there are many who reject these virtues and are now destitute of the true faith,
Step on the serpent’s head this month. Genesis 49:16-18 says of the Tribe of Dan 16 “Dan shall judge his people, As one of the tribes of Israel. 17 “Dan shall be a serpent in the way, A horned viper in the path, That bites the horse’s heels, So that its rider falls backward. 18“For Your salvation I wait, LORD.
The Hebrew word for salvation is “yeshuwah.” At this point in the prophecy, when Jacob was near death, he called out for God’s salvation. Knowingly or not, Jacob called out for Yeshua/Jesus!

Revival in our Day - People Confess their Sins
Ezra 10:1 Now while Ezra was praying and making confession, weeping and prostrating himself before the house of God, a very large assembly, men, women, and children, gathered to him from Israel; for the people wept greatly.
Revival Began in Kislev, all the people gathered to hear the instructions of the Lord. Ezra 10:9-11 With only three days to respond to the command, all the men of Judah and Benjamin hurried to Jerusalem from the surrounding cities. Adverse weather did not deter them, for the matter to be settled was very grave and caused more consternation than did the rainy weather. Ezra spoke to the gathering, pointing out their transgressions.
Choose to Change! In the tenth month they examined more throughly the matter of disobedience in the people.
Ezra 10:16 And the children of the captivity did so. And Ezra the priest, with certain chief of the fathers, after the house of their fathers, and all of them by their names, were separated, and sat down in the first day of the tenth month to examine the matter.
Believers Bible Commentary says, "10:12-17 All the assembly was quick to acknowledge that they had disobeyed God's law. But because of the heavy rain and the large number of cases involved, they suggested that the individual cases be examined city by city. Four men tried to oppose the plan but were unsuccessful. Judges were appointed, and in less than two weeks the inquiry began. Within three months the probe was complete.”
Esther Becomes Queen - Obtained Grace and Favor
Est 2:16 So Esther was taken to King Ahasuerus, into his royal palace, in the tenth month, which is the month of Tebeth, in the seventh year of his reign. 17 The king loved Esther more than all the other women, and she obtained grace and favor in his sight more than all the virgins…
Son of Man, Prophesy to the Rebellious House
Ez 24:1 1 Again in the ninth year, in the tenth month, in the tenth day of the month, the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, 2 "Son of man, write down the name of the day, this very day—the king of Babylon started his siege against Jerusalem this very day. 3 And utter a parable to the rebellious house, and say to them, 'Thus says the Lord GOD:
Ez 29:1 In the tenth year, in the tenth month, in the twelfth day of the month, the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, 2 "Son of man, set your face against Pharaoh king of Egypt, and prophesy against him, and against all Egypt. 3 Speak, and say, 'Thus says the Lord GOD…
Joyful Fast and Feast - Love Truth and Peace
Ze 8:19 Thus saith the LORD of hosts; The fast of the fourth month, and the fast of the fifth, and the fast of the seventh, and the fast of the tenth, shall be to the house of Judah joy and gladness, and cheerful feasts; therefore love the truth and peace.
David Guzik Commentary says, “Each one of these fast days remembered a tragic day around the fall of Jerusalem. God here promised blessing so wonderful that these mournful fasts would be transformed into cheerful feasts of celebration.
i. G. Campbell Morgan said of these man-appointed fasts: “None of these things had been in the purpose of God for His people; they had resulted from their sins. The fasts therefore were the result of their sins. In jealousy and fury, the outcome of love, Jehovah would put away their sins, and so restore them to true prosperity. In that day, let them still remember and observe, only let the observance be a feast in celebration of God’s grace, instead of a fast in memory of their sin.”
