Names of God: A Way to Understand His Nature and Character
The Names of God used in the Bible act as a roadmap for learning about the character of God. Since the Bible is God's Word to us, the names He chooses in scripture are meant to reveal His true nature to us.
A few interesting things to note regarding YHVH Yahweh. First it was divinely given by God Himself and is full of divine revelation of the fullness of who He is. Third, in Judaism, YHVH (Yahweh) is considered as the name that expresses His compassion, while Elohim is the title that expresses His justice.

Yahweh America’s Stronghold
Yahweh is my strength and my fortress, my refuge in times of trouble. Nations come to you from the most distant parts of the world and say, “Our ancestors have inherited lies, worthless and unprofitable gods (futility and useless things). (Jeremiah 16:19 - NOG)
Strength: The pictograph is a picture of the eye representing knowing, and a picture of cutting implement. Combined these mean "know a weapon”.
Fortress: place or means of safety, protection, refuge, stronghold.
Refuge: place of escape.
Trouble: narrow; (as a noun) a tight place, distress, a pressing in or on someone or something; adversary, adversity, affliction.
Strait: A narrow tight place or situation.
Also, A salve rubbed and pressed into the skin.

Shamar: To watch over or guard in the sense of preserving or protecting. As a covering of protection.

Keep: have or retain possession of; provide for the sustenance of (someone); honor or fulfill (a commitment or undertaking).

Yahweh Ma’oz - Lord My Strength / Stronghold
Scriptures:
Yahweh is my light and my salvation: whom should I fear? Yahweh is the stronghold of my life: whom should I dread? Psalms 27:1 (NOG)
Light: Light is necessary for order; illumination - revelation
Salvation; deliverance, salvation, rescue, safety, welfare, prosperity, victory
Stronghold: place or means of safety, protection, refuge, stronghold; a fortified place; figuratively a defense
Psalms 18:2 The LORD (Yahweh) is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer, My God, my rock, in whom I take refuge; My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.
Psalms 37:39-40 39 The victory for righteous people comes from Yahweh. He is their fortress in times of trouble.40 Yahweh helps them and rescues them. He rescues them from wicked people. He saves them because they have taken refuge in him. (NOG)
Nahum 1:7 The LORD is good, A stronghold in the day of trouble, And He knows those who take refuge in Him.
Blessing / Declaration of the Name:
I pronounce the name of Yahweh Ma’oz upon you! I say, He alone is your strength (your weapon) in this season. If you have grown weary in these days KNOW the LORD is near to hold up your arms and strengthened your weak knees. Yahweh Ma’oz is coming to your rescue pulling you out of the miry clay. He is releasing revelation light so you can see what things need to be re-ordered. Yahweh Ma’oz is bringing deliverance - you are coming out of those places that have held you captive and bound you to old ways of thinking and doing. He is anointing your wounds with His healing salve and bringing you into the good land He has promised you.
Dear Ones, where some of you are going in this new season is ‘no where’ you thought you would be BUT Yahweh Ma’oz has been leading and orchestrating your every move. Amazing adventures, new and excited things are on your path ahead so look up, and be assured that Elohim the God of justice and Yahweh Ma’oz your strength and stronghold are overshadowing you. His strong arm is leading your forward.
